Five ushers are need to direct folks to the correct seating area. This role will require a 5pm-9pm shift on 9/20, and a meeting during the dress rehearsal on 9/19 at 6pm. Ten strike team members are need for 9/21 from 9am-1pm to dissemble the event site. More info at www.bigsurfashionshow.org

About the event
An event borne from the ashes of the 2008 fire in Big Sur, the event was intended to create community and bring people together in a way that was unique to the culture of Big Sur. Originally held at the Henry Miller Library, the event is now held in Carmel at the Barnyard Event Center. We host 25+ designers, approximately 75 volunteers, and 600 guests each year, and the designs are more and more fabulous each year. All the fashion and art is made of upcycled materials, meaning no fabric or mew materials are used to create the wearable art.
