Volunteer Opportunities
Community Relations and Outreach
We are looking for skilled social marketing gurus, newsletter ninjas and bridge-building wizards to drive our communications and outreach. Your work here is essential to connecting the community to the essential needs of our nonprofit partners. Core responsibilities include keeping up with emerging volunteer needs, promoting volunteer opportunities across channels, updating the volunteer portal, leveraging web analytics to inform our outreach strategies and nurturing relationships with community partners.
Fundraising and Grant Writing
We need help identifying and engaging with champions who can support our ambitions and capacity to do the work. You will be integral to ensuring we continue to meet our commitments to our community. Core responsibilities include identifying relevant grant, fundraising, sponsorship or contract opportunities, grant writing, and promoting donation opportunities across channels.
Administrative Support
We are looking for masters of productivity, checklists and organization. This may mean maintaining our Google Drive, fielding questions by email or phone, scheduling meetings, or going down rabbit holes in pursuit of answers to critical questions. Be prepared, regardless, to do a little bit of everything. In exchange, we’ll provide you with hands-on experiences across the essential operations of a grassroots nonprofit.
